For most of us bread is the important part of everyday food chart. Regular white bread is making you gain weight and it is hard to digest. That is because of flour inside of it. Here is a substitute for bread that has no flour in it. This is great food for those who need something in their meal other than main course.
This egg bread is great addition to your diet. Keto diet supports this kind of bread.
- 3 eggs
- 100 g cream cheese
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-Separate the eggs, put the egg whites in one bowl and the egg yolks in another.
-In a bowl where are the egg whites add a pinch of salt and whip it together until very stiff. You should be able to turn the bowl over without the egg whites moving.
-Mix the egg yolks and cream cheese well and add baking powder. This makes the Oopsie more bread-like.
-Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mix – try to keep the air in the egg white.
-Put 8 small oopsies on baking tray (baking paper).
-Bake them in oven at 150° C(300° F) for about 25 minutes.
You can also put different kinds of seeds on them before baking them, for instance poppy, sesame or sunflower seeds.
If you cut it it can be filled with chicken, mozzarella or vegetables, your choice. Or it can be filled with some sweet layer and you can eat it as a desert.
